Hello cadets! My name is C/LTC Anastasia Obal and I am the Battalion Commander of the Buena High School Army JROTC Fighting Colt Battalion for the 2020/2021 school year. As the BC, I have overall responsibility for the training, discipline, and performance of the Fighting Colt Battalion. I am excited to work with my Company Commanders as well as my Command and Staff. I will make sure all the cadets in the Fighting Colt Battalion have what they need to succeed this upcoming school year. With lots of hard work, communication, determination and motivation, this upcoming school year will definitely be a success! Battalion Commander

The Battalion Commander has the overall responsibility of managing the performance and morale of the Cadet Battalion. The Battalion Commander sets the example for the Battalion in appearance, conduct, and performance. The commander reports directly to the Senior Army Instructor and makes advanced coordination on all matters pertaining to policy and procedures for the Battalion. The Battalion Commander also directly manages all cadets in Battalion level positions.
