The JPA (JROTC Program of Accreditation) inspection is an event the Army conducts every three years to inspect our battalion to see if we are meeting the standards we are supposed to meet. Depending on how well we do, we obtain the award Honor Unit with Distinction which is the gold star we wear on our uniforms. If the standards are not met we lose the gold star on our uniform. The JPA Inspection takes place in the student parking lot during the first three class periods of the day. During the those first three periods the cadets have an excused absence from those classes. If a cadet does not have their uniform or the cadets uniform is in poor condition the cadet will be returned to class.
